Clinical Information
Discusses physiology, pathophysiology, and general clinical aspects, as they relate to a laboratory test

Once absorbed and circulating, mercury becomes bound to numerous proteins, including keratin. The concentration of mercury in nails correlates with the severity of clinical symptoms.
